Trimming
Rollem machines are ideal for trimming away the waste edges of sheets.
Trims can be removed in combination with other processes like perforating and creasing, giving productivity and quality in one pass.
Rollem machines are supremely accurate, each sheet being processed exactly the same. Very tight tolerances of 0.001" are not unusual in the playing card industry who insist on Rollem machines, and the CD inlay industry are loyal to Rollem as only we can provide the 0.1mm tolerance on large lightweight sheets.
Sheets that are exceptionally curly or that are embossed or thermographed are no trouble as there is no stack to crush or misalign; each sheet is carefully and accurately handled individually at high speed.
The new Rollem Autolay system adds a new level of accuracy. Now some of the new models of Rollem equipment can adjust to print image drift, and other registration problems, on the fly with no speed penalty.
