New printing processes and special papers make folding an absolute nightmare.
Rollem have 12 styles of creasing line and 3 processing systems to get the quality you need.
For heavier stocks we now have heavy-duty rigidised machines with twin head processing. Each crease line gets hit twice so that only the best gets through, leaving a superb crack-free fold.
